The W8 Column to create the life and work of your dreams: Be, Do and Have.

February 26, 2008. About five years ago, a book came into my hands that opened new horizons for my career. The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth written by Robert G. Allen and Mark Victor Hansen which is already a classic in the self-help industry.

Looking back, I think that this book was one of the first strong influences that I had to write my own book. One of the four "mountains of wealth" from which the authors speak is the area of "infopreneurship" or the entrepreneurship of information. Until that time I didn't even know that such a thing existed. Over time, after reading more and more on this topic, I realized that it was for me.

The humble advice that I would like to get across today is: look for a great book.

Find a book that will give you profound lessons in life. Have at least one good book always in your possession. Go to your local book stores, or search the Internet for the books that can give you invaluable lessons.

Here is a partial list of books that have inspired me and suggested new possibilities for my life and career.

I think the most important thing about reading is just that, the possibilities and new ideas that come to your mind, with new approaches, strategies, and new personal and professional horizons.

Perhaps the next book you read could enhance your professional choice and help you continue on that path ... Or what I did a few years ago: launch a new career.
